This is a simple ball bounce experiencing with the use of Maya Graph Editor. Added some lighting effects later. So here's my first bounce in Maya.
I found some cool spline lessons on the Victor Navone's site, I'm going to try them out.

If you want come and try them out for yourself, here:

Here I created a simple scene with some lights and rendered it from different camera views.

This is a rough animation I made with this character. I used only parent constraints when animating, no Joint tool was used here, so no IK.

I made this cause I am so diligent and had some spare time, so it wasn't a part of the lecture.
I am in the middle of the Maya Springboard course at AM. Here we are going through on some basic tuition about the software.  At this part of the course we don't learn how to animate yet. It is a kind of warming up.
I made this figure as basic modeling exercise and the part of the lecture. The body is made from polygon primitives 3 surface spheres: two for the eye and the head itself wich was later deformed. Then I connected the individual body parts using the parent tool. The goal was to understand basic modeling and hierarchy. No joints were placed.

I kept the model as simple as possible as I concentrate myself on animation.
